How to determine the size or width of my lenses*
Most sunglass frames have both the model number and lens width located on the inside left arm of your sunglasses.
The lens width usually follows your model number and is represented by 2 numbers, followed by a small square, then another 2 numbers. The first two numbers represent the width of a lens. At times the lens width can be written under the nose bridge on your frames. If you cannot find the information in these locations or it has worn off, please take your lens out and measure it sitting on top of a ruler as in the image below for the correct lens width. You want the maximum width of the lens. If you are struggling to find the lens width or model information taking a photo of your frames and the lens like below and sending them to us will be the best method to ensure you order correctly. Guessing is seldom an option that works and may result in lengthy delays and exchanges.
You can always send photos of your lens width and your frame to our care team at Sunglass Fix and we will see if we can help.
We also custom make and install lenses in sunglasses. Sometimes this is the best method of ensuring a perfect repair when your model number has been worn off.
